Visiting from out of state, wanted some deep dish pizza. Saw a high star rating for this place and was excited to try it out. I was not disappointed. Food was great! Got my pizza like I wanted and it was great! Mozzarella sticks here are fantastic. My cocktail and beer were great partners to the meal (Iron something Margarita and Gino's Lager) Miguel was our server and was fantastic! Nice and attentive dude. Made sure we had a good time. Great service, great food, and a great experience.

Came here for my first visit to Chicago because they offered vegan cheese on their deep dish pizza. We walked in when they opened near 11am. We were served by someone named Hannah. She notified us before ordering how long each type of pizza would take to cook (45 minutes) which I thought was very considerate, especially if you have a tour/appointment. We ordered the 9" deep dish build-your-own pizza with vegan cheese, black olives, jalapenos, garlic and basil. We also ordered the garlic breadsticka to hold us over until our pizza came. The breadsticks were just okay imo, but the pizza was worth the wait. It had 4 good slices which was good enough for the 2 of us to share Hannah was excellent at checking in on us and making sure we had enough water throughout our meal and we are glad to have experienced her service.

Absolutely amazing deep dish pizza ! It was really good, and the flavor and texture were perfect. Definitely worth trying if you're in Chicago. The salad was also great. Just a heads up that this place gets really busy, especially on weekends, so I would recommend making a reservation beforehand.

I’m currently spending the weekend in Chicago with my boyfriend this weekend for the first time and friend of mine recommended that we come here to try the deep dish pizza. We were served by our waiter Kelly who was absolutely amazing. He was very accommodating especially because I mentioned my shellfish allergy and immediately he guided me to appetizers that wasn’t cross contaminated. I’m glad he did because the Brussels sprouts was best I ever had. Me and my boyfriend did the build your own deep dish pizza and it was amazing. I felt great to have deep dish pizza for the first time and I’m truly glad I came to Gino.

Hands down one of the best deep dish pizza’s I’ve had. I loved the Margherita style, and washed it down with a super refreshing Gino’s lager, perfect after a day of walking around the city. I came here as a party of one today and the music and atmosphere, and Miguel my server, made it a great experience. Can’t wait to come back.
